Students will create "une critique et une affiche" for a chosen movie, whether made-up or actually playing in theatres, and orally present it to the class using gestures and/or visual aid in order to communicate his/her message and promote his/her choice of film.

Writing an autoportrait en français

Write and present a 30-60 second ad script for Radio. Announcement must include an attention getter, name of the product, why auidience should buy it (argument), why they shouldn't buy another product (counter argument) and what you want your audience to do (call to action)-BUY THE PRODUCT!. May include music in background. Can only use the power of your voice. You cannot model/ show your product because we can ONLY hear you.

Students will prepare a skit about ordering food in one of the three situations learned in class (a restaurant, a fast food restaurant, or a corner store) using the place specific vocabulary learned in class (see Mission Survie for examples). After creating a short role play, your group will then perform it in front of the class

The student will present his/her clown describing it's personality trait along with a physical description. As well he/she will label his/her clown pointing out learned vocabulary (body parts).

This rubic is used for grading all classwork assignments.

Students are expected to come to class fully prepared to discuss and critically analyze the material we're learning. Communication skills are developed through the life time. We will focus on practicing expression of our ideas and thoughts, paraphrasing new information, asking questions, and listening and paraphrasing each other.

The very simple rubric assesses an upper level French student's ability to participate in a debate/discussion during class. It was adapted from an upper level Spanish bull-fighting rubric

This is used to grade a student't performance during Reading Groups. Vocab, Listening, Participation, Oral Reading, Comprehension.
