Students will think about a plan they have for some time in the future. They will then write a friendly letter telling a friend about their plan. ELA3C1l. I can create a childrens fairy tale in Spanish with a partner demonstrating my skills with preterite, imperfect, present and future tense verbs to overall have a captivating and fun story.

You will create a mini-poster in Spanish where you describe your childhood (at least 10 of the points mentioned in class), your present (at least 4 aspects of your present life), and your dreams for the future (at least 5 predictions) . IMPORTANT: You have to use at least one photograph and / or drawing on each of these points in your life. Demonstrate your knowledge and use of Spanish: Imperfect, present and future. Be creative and have fun.

Create a visual floor plan presentation of your Dream House .You will have to draw, make a PowerPoint presentation, or make a movie. Your house must contain cocina, baño, comedor, sala, recámaras, lavadero, patio y garaje and labeled in Spanish. You will have to draw or paste pictures of different pieces of furniture or objects found in each room. Vocabulary You must include Vocabulary from Chapter 8, write 5 sentences in Spanish describing each room of your dream house, include at least 5 directions 5 descriptions, name and label items afuera (outside), include the following verbs: Ser, Estar, Tener, Poner, Hacer, Vivir, and Preferir include the word Hay(there is) and Ordinal Numbers (primero, segundo...) Description of presentation You must be ready to present to the classroom. You will speak in Spanish a minimum of two minutes by memory to describe your dream home. If you are making a video it must contain a tour of your dream house, narrated by you in Spanish.

You will write correct Spanish sentences about yourself to create Quien soy yo? poster. Write 10 sentences that describe who you are, your likes and dislikes, and your favorite leisure time activities.

I will write review of a movie or television show of my choice. I will draw, cut from a newspaper or magazine, or print at home pictures about my program. I will create a poster and write my review. I will include the information on my planning page, a brief summary about the story line, describe the pictures, and tell if I liked the program and recommend it to others. My final project must have all Spanish sentences. I will tell the class in Spanish if I liked the program or not and why.

Students will research one French-Speaking country. Students will then prepare an oral presentation in which they will discuss the tourism for their given states. Each student will need to prepare note cards that have the following information: The source where you obtained the information, the author of that source, and the information from the source. The student will be graded on three criteria, These criteria are eye contact, vocal projection, knowledge of the topic.

You will demonstrate your understanding of talking, reading and writing about Spanish foods by designing a Spanish menu for your new restaurant. Give your restaurant a Spanish name and create the menu entirely in Spanish. You must include healthy foods. The menu must include 1 complete meal for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and appetizers, desserts, and drinks. The menu must be visually pleasing with easily identifiable headings/categories, and colored drawing. Due Date: 1-22-2020.

Prepare a poster and presentation for the class using comparatives of lesser degree, greater degree, equal degree, and irregulars.You must have as well relative and absolute superlatives (when no comparisons are given).Make sure to have at least 4 items to compare.

Content+Language Control+Fluency&Pronunciation

You will create a Season's Greeting card in which you greet another student with happy sentences wishing the person well this Holiday Season using your Spanish vocabulary for Holidays and greetings.

Students will research advance civilizations of Mesoamerica, such as the Mayans, Aztecs or Incas. Information should include: (1) Where and when they lived (maps), (2) Housing; (3) Clothing; (4) Food; (5) Religion; and (6) Lifestyle/Social - Culture.

You will tell the story about yourself in Spanish. Reflect upon the major events of your life so far. Pick one significant event that has already happened in you life. Select only one significan event. Use your knowledge of the past tenses to write your story and present it to the class. Remember, in creating your story to include your story elements. Your final written story and your presentation to the class must be in Spanish. This assignment is valued at two assessment grades.

The student will select an animal of the choices given the class and write a description of it. The description of the animal needs to include the name, what kind it is, its habitat / envirnment, a detailed description of its appearance, and why the student selected that particular animal to "show and tell". The short essay needs to be well organized and detailed. The final product must be written and presented in Spanish. The value of this assignment is two grades.

Students will use transition words in describing the presentation of models in their fashion show.
