You will be writing a 2-3 page paper on the topic of your choice regarding Spanish history and culture. Your paper should be in proper MLA format. This rubric will be used in the grading of your research paper. Please follow all the guidelines for the paper and read over this rubric so that you know what I am looking for when it is being graded.

You will be writing a children's book in spanish using the vocabulary you have learned so far. The book must be 10 pages long and have 1-2 sentences per page. Each page must be illustrated in color, meaning there needs to be a printed or drawn pictures that match what you have written on each page. The book aslo must have a cover with a illustration, title and author.

On a Spanish speaking country map give a weather forecast in Spanish

You will act as travel agents/travelers and use the brochure to suggest/question an itinerary with flight information, lodging information, location and description,and typical foods. Include information about fun things to do, typical weather and temperatures and things to pack(optional), and a picture of the flag. The brochure and presentation will include verbs in the present tense and phrases. Brochure will be turned in for analysis.

Describe oneself, likes and dislikes,what you look like physically and your presonality.Say what you do before,during and after school. Etc.

You will design a menu for a new restaurant in your choice of Spanish speaking country. You must give your restaurant a name (in Spanish) and create the menu entirely in Spanish. The menu should include at least three complete meals for each category on your menu, and a list of three or more beverages and three or more desserts. Be sure to use vocabulary we have learned in class. The menu should be visually pleasing.

This rubric is to be used in assessing student effort and accuracy on daily homework assignments.
