9 rubric SFHS Bold Self-Portrait       popup preview  
The final product will be a larger than life self-portrait. Students will draw a portrait of themselves emphasizing their physical traits and expressing their inner personality. They will use the elements of color, size, shape and texture and the principles of proportion, balance, emphasis and harmony to create their portrait. They will demonstrate their level of knowledge of the concept ideas and mastery of the tools and media.

Create a poster or PowerPoint presentation as aid for oral report based on research of 3 artists showing emotional&physical influences affected their art making decisions. Represent 2 examples of their work&explain the personality/physical influences on the examples shown. Analyze findings&formulating ideas about representing physical traits&personality in your art. Posters will be on 1 full size poster board. PowerPoint will have a minimum of 8 slides. Remember quality, clarity&creativity.
