Your task is to explore the feasibility of one aspect of sustainable living and apply it to the design of your Habitat for Humanity structure (or another building if you are not participating in the H4H project). Three suggested topics are 1)Xeriscaping, 2)Rain Barrel Irrigation, & 3)Solar Panel Power. However, you are not limited to these three topics

You are creating a poster or presentation on a genetic disorder. Please present your information as if I have no idea about this genetic disorder. Please be sure to answer all questions in order to ensure you have thoroughly covered your genetic disorder.

Arkansas Framework: Categorize the type and composition of various minerals. Students will make an advertisement (small poster) for their assigned mineral. This poster will use a slogan to attempt to sell the mineral. The poster will include 3 uses for the mineral, occurances (where the mineral is found), and the following facts about the mineral: mineral name, hardness, SpG, transparency, color(s), luster, streak, cleavage and fracture.

Come up with story/cartoon for cell organelles. Create a visually appealing project to demonstrate understanding of cell anatomy.

An assessment for students to evaluate the work of their peers as they complete an assignment to become experts on a particular macromolecule. Students will then teach members of other groups about the macromolecule they are the experts on.

You will research your assigned biome and create a travel ad to invite tourists to travel to your biome. Your advertisement could be a brochure, magazine, tv commercial, song or any other type of advertisement. The only limit is that you cannot use powerpoint, Prezi, or make a poster.

Students research an Industrial Mineral and complete an oral presentation.
