Students illustrate and orally narrate their own picture short story

Student respond to teacher's questions or prompts based on audiovisual assigned to students.

General Spanish dialogue.

Students will perform a skit to demonstrate mastery of vocabulary related to greetings and introductions. Students are working in groups of 3-4 students. Students must prepare a brief skit (3 minutes to 5 minutes) that include phrases and expressions related to greetings and introductions. Each group will have 45 minutes to write their skits and should be prepared to act out their skits. While the skits are being performed, class members are to observe and listen.

Students illustrate their own short story.

Vocabulary Builder: Students will create a Powerpoint presentation illustrating new vocabulary words and phrases in Spanish. Students will also provide images that describe the word or phrase in each slide.
