Students are asked to present a poster on a Spanish speaking country including traditions and vocabulary for greetings and farewell. Students also design the country’s flag.

You will work in a group of 3-4 and write and present a weather broadcast in Spanish. You will write a forecast for 2 days of various cities in a Spanish speaking country (one city per person in the group) of your choice and draw a weather map to use as a prop. You will video tape your broadcast. You need to present as if weather anchors on the news. You may use any online source you wish for information, but not look up full sentences online (google translator).

Students will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization - commercial flows logically, Content - Commercial explains what it is and why you should by it, Props- utilized, Eye Contact - focused on audience, Grammar- Correct, Clarity - audible

You will be writing a 1 page paper on the topic of your choice regarding Spanish history and culture. Your paper should be in proper MLA format and in spanish. This rubric will be used in the grading of your research paper. Please follow all the guidelines for the paper and read over this rubric so that you know what I am looking for when it is being graded.

The students will research biographical information on a famous person of Spanish heritage. The presentation will contain information that the students collected in the form of a Written report and a poster or collage.
