You will work in a group of 3-4 and write and present a weather broadcast in Spanish. You will write a forecast for 2 days of various cities in a Spanish speaking country (one city per person in the group) of your choice and draw a weather map to use as a prop. You need to present as if weather anchors on the news. Each person will be assigned a city. Be sure to include weather conditions and temperature in centigrados, activities that might be appropriate, sunrise, sunset.

Create a drawing of your own superhero or villain. Description must use SER, ESTAR and present progressive tense.

You will create a poster of 10 different scenes that depict your daily routine. Each scene must include at least two sentence with details telling what you do as part of your daily routine.Be sure your scenes go in a chronological order from first to last. Each scene will also include a neat detailed drawing, photo, or clip art depicting the part of your daily routine that the sentence is about. A minimum of 8 frames must contain the use of different reflexive verbs. Vocabulary from this chapter must be included when depicting your daily routine. You will act as travel agents/travelers and use the brochure to suggest/question an itinerary with flight information, lodging information, location and description,and typical foods. You will video tape your presentation. Include information about fun things to do, typical weather and temperatures and things to pack. Include a legend or myth associated with the country/culture.

You and a classmate will be taking a trip to an assigned Spanish speaking country. Like any good tourist, you must prepare yourself before you visit in order to get the most from your trip! You will need to research your country to learn about the culture, weather & climate, currency of the country, religion, foods, housing, famous landmarks and government. I also want to know what a round trip ticket would cost from Texas. Include all travel documents you will need to travel to that country as well. Divide up the work with your partner to complete Part 1 (RESEARCH & FORMAT), Part 2 (DRAW IT!) - Map & Flag and Part 3 (Oral Presentation) - Speaking & Culture
