Cell to Organism Poster
Your assignment is to construct a sectioned poster that shows an organism of your choice from a cell, tissue, organ, organ system to the organism. Your written explanations should be in your own words and clearly show your understanding of how like cells build tissue, tissues build organs, organs work together in systems and systems combine to create a living organism. You must also look at one factor that is harming your chosen organism.

World Religions Panel
Your group will create a large panel on one of the five world religions.

Illustration/Diagram: Soil Profile
Student will create a model of a soil horizon found in one of the 50 U.S. States. Students must use the white tagboard paper provided 12x18" in a portrait layout. 80% of the paper must be filled with the soil profile illustration and correctly labeled with Horizons O, A, B, C and R. Creative use of multimedia is required to show texture of each substrate.

Cartopgraphy - Create Your Own Country Project
Specific Expectation: Students will create their own country, include the 5-parts of the map, the lines of latitude/longitude including the equator and prime meridian, create and label names for the capital, cities, and landforms, list on key, and indicate the latitude and longitude. Label the Hemispheres and North & South Pole.

Three Types of Rocks Foldable Project
This rubric will be used to evaluate an 8 part foldable giving information about the rock cycle, types of rocks and how they form, differences between rocks and minerals, the contribution of bedrock to soil formation, geologic resources, and understanding of a stratigraphic column with each foldable containing facts, illustrations and examples.
