Poetry Rubric: - students write original poetry in class showcasing the use of imagery, sound effects and rhyming, etc.

Students will choose a specific topic to write a poem about. The students will go through the writing process (prewriting, drafting, editing, revising and publishing) to create an original poem. The poem can have a consistent rhyme scheme throghout the poem. The students will type their poem and attached them to cover pages illustrated with appropriate images. piece of paper.
