Your objective for this project is to make a digital document containing at THREE pictures with a description of where pi/circles can be found in your everyday life; ONE picture of a mathematician who had significant contributions to the study of trigonometry. Include a brief summary of his/her contribution; and FOUR jobs that use concepts from trigonometry. Explain how the job uses trigonometry.

This will be used to assessment a Geometry Dictionary project.

Students create scientific drawings of various flowers by understanding the shape and structure first; then using geometry and spacing to create a symmetrical representation of multiple flowers with various numbers of petals.

Students must design an imaginary Geometry Town. The town must include a city name, examples of different types of lines, polygons, and angles.

You are to write a Mathematical Rap, song, poem or story about any math concept. You must describe how to complete a math problem using this concept.

Read one article (any source) that contains math information. Bring the article to class. Write a paragraph with at least one sentence for each of these questions: Introductory sentence describing article and where you found it. 2) What math is being used? 3) How is the math in this article useful? How does it relate to your own experience? ( You must cite the work properly).

Write at least two paragraphs each for five of the following questions (typed, double-spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins, ten paragraphs total) on your progress in math this year. 1.
