Oral Presentation

You are designing a menu for your Cafe. You can even download a free ASL alphabet font from lifeprint.com to use on small parts of your menu. At a minimum, make sure you have 4 categories and under each have 2-3 food choices. Don't forget to add a price for each item. Be sure to use vocabulary we have learned in class. The menu should be visually pleasing with easily identifiable headings, prices, and graphics/drawings or color photos.

Properly evaluates the artistic process through measuring the application of acrylic techniques in creating a painting

Students will sign a story on a specific topic and keep in mind the following scoring criteria. They must not look at their story while signing it. They are encouraged to use their own smartphones to videotape it for analysis.

Students will sign an ASL speech on a chosen country and its culture. Emphasis on the Deaf culture within that country. A slide show will be included.

ASL Children's Story

This is a group commercial, minimum of 3 minutes in length, that will persuade your target audience to buy your product. It is to be performed entirely in ASL.

Teaching groups will choose a Biblical concept. Teaching groups will produce a lesson, complete with presentation, an exciting activity,and a visual aide. Each group will prepare and practice their lesson in class before presenting their activity to the entire class.
