Drivers Education poster project

Students will work in groups of three to create a skit about an appropriate situation where an individual would need to use decision making skills. Students must have one of the characters making a "healthy" decision. All members of group must be significantly involved in skit. NJ standard 2.2.8.B.1

Students will write a 2 page paper evaluating a health care product off of a list of appropriate health care products created by the teacher. Paper will include 3 pros for the product, 2 cons, and a brief history of the product. All information must be factual. Student must use three credible sources.

In a group, students will be assessed on their creation of a dance and their ability to lead the rest of the group in learning it. The dance will be assessed on whether it includes variations in time, space, force, and flow. The way the students lead their peers in the class will be assessed on whether they correct other students mistakes, and if they demonstrate there dance at a slow pace, so that it is able to learn the steps.nj standard 2.5.12.A.3

Assessment based on if students can explain the movement cues of the layup, execute a layup in a practice situation, and execute a layup in game situations. Standard 2.5.8.A.1
