Opening activity writing responses to various themes presented . A new theme will be introduced each day. Students choose from variety of response formats. Grading is based on thoroughness, neatness, thoughtfulness, analysis, and mechanics.

Research the approved topic and question. Submit double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.
