1. Students will use a nine-inch paper plate to create their own MyPlate. 2. Color plate to resemble the colors on MyPlate. 3. Write an inventory of your meals and categorize MyPlate by food groups.

As you listen to your classmates' presentation, evaluate the quality of their presentation.

Introduce at least 4 members of your family. You should include a picture of each family member and write a short paragraph to introduce each person. The verbs tener and ser, along with family and description vocabulary and possessive adjectives should be used. Each description should be 4-5 sentences.

Write and present a 30-60 second ad script for Televison. Announcement must include an attention getter, name of the product, why auidience should buy it (argument), why they shouldn't buy another product (counter argument) and what you want your audience to do (call to action)-BUY THE PRODUCT!. May include music in background. Can use the power of your voice AND Visual aids (your product). You may use any persuasive technique that a television ad would have BUT this will be performed live in class.

Students will create a video or PowerPoint talking about how, when and by whom some rooms are used in their homes. They must talk about the furniture in the room and the activities or chores related to those rooms in their homes.

The students will create a video to set up a date or outing.

You will write a little book with an original story, an account of a personal event, or a vacation. It must include illustrations to aid in understanding the story/event. It must contain specific events as well as description of characters, places, situations, background.
