The students will work in partners to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of Anti-Smoking. Students will provide information health issues, cost, and reasons why smoking is dangerous. Students will demonstrate in a creative and colorful poster that includes facts and drawings displaying "Anti-Smoking" following this rubric. Students will place facts on the poster from the graphic organizer. The poster will be designed on paper from the school's paper roll.

Students will create their own profile on Super Tracker. Each student will then personalize their own profile. Next, each student will register to save their profile. Students are to enter all food and beverages consumed based on their own 2 week diet. At the end of the 2 weeks, students will be responsible to print 3 reports: Meal summary; Nutrient Intakes; and Food Groups. Students are expected to summarize the findings by writing a one-page summary on how they might improve their own diet (and exercise plan).

Student must design a seven day meal plan for themselves that consists of nutritious and fresh natural unprocessed foods, that will include one meal they will prepare FROM SCRATCH (so no hamburger helper or frozen family dinners) for themselves and their family. Student will write a 300 word summary of their meal plan and experience and give a 5-8 minute presentation on their meal plan in class using Power Point.
