Poetry Out Loud

Students will create a multimedia project of choice (PowerPoint;Photostory; etc) on a topic of their choice related to the research and essay conducted in class.

Design a multimedia project of your choice that: •uses used appropriate technology for the assignment •includes research to find information or data •includes a presentation of information in video, images, and audio. When selecting a presentation design, keep in mind the due date for outline or script and how well your topic can inform and address all areas of the rubric.

Students will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization - commercial flows logically, Content - Commercial provides feature/benefit of product, Graphics - utilized, Audio - well written voice over and/or script, Grammar- Correct, Clarity - audible

In specific groups, students will create a 30 second-1 min commercial using the Movie Maker Program. You must import a video for your commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product or go to a specific destination. You must complete the commercial worksheet (provided), and have at least 4 story board frames (see attached worksheets). You must have video, music and audio. A written script must accompany your presentation. Use the commercial worksheet to show how your commercial targets the appropriate customers, and to show how you will sell your project. The students will design a poster that uses symbolism, visuals, phrases, words, quotes in any or all combination to communicate the concept of TRUE INNER BEAUTY.
