Assignments will be graded on the following basis; the assignment is complete for the day that it is due; the assignment is corrected; work is done in pencil and is legible; there is evidence that the math is understood through the completion of each problem.

(20 POINTS - 4 points each section) Below is a chart that shows you exactly how your school event participation grade will be determined. All students are expected to participate in school activities!

Your Reading Language Arts notebook will be collected approximately every two weeks to be graded on the following five categories: Organization, Class notes. Returned Work, and Punctuality. Every notebook check will be out of 100 points. Each category is worth 20 points.

This rubric will be used to evaluate how students participate daily.

Students are paired with the task of constructing and presenting a graph as assigned from Chapter 6 linear equations.

Students will create project using guidelines given in class.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of paragraph organization by writing a 5-paragraph essay utilizing the writing process of planning, organizing, writing, evaluating and revising.

Students will use the varied relationships of linear equations to describe a business model for a product they designed. Students will graph the income and expense and determine the profit by month. They will discover the relationship the slope has to income, expense, and profit. They will also use their model to predict future revenue, expense and profit as well as determine if thy have a sustainable business. This project focuses on one product but can easily be extended to multiple products and multi-variable equations.

Paragraph must include a topic sentence, 3 details of at least 2 sentences each, and a concluding sentence.
