Students will work in groups or alone to develop a well choreographed dance. Students will choose their music. The Dance must protray inspiration from a a piece of visual art.

For this project you will do Four steps: 1. You will choose a work of art (painter, cartoonist, poster illustrator, or sculptor/artist). 2You will research the ARTIST (include background information) and analyze the artist's artwork you selected. 3. You will create your own presentation using Prezi, Posterboard, and/or Powerpoint. 4 Make your presentation to class. Be prepared to answer a question(s) from the class or the teacher. Your presentation should be 5-7 Min. in length.

DANCE PERFORMANCE RUBRIC For Dance: Level 1

This rubric is designed to assess the group on how well they perform the dance, how well they work together, and their ability to incorporate different moves throughout the entire dance.

Instructor assess group efforts in producing a group choreography in which all members contributed

How well did you participate in the choreography project? Everyday, you made a choice to either be actively involved (gave 100%) or not. Honestly evaluate your contributions using the rubric below.
