Avatar Project for Italian Class

Students will create an itinerary for a vacation in Italy. They will work with one partner and select a region that they want to visit and three cities in this regions. They have to use a NEW technological device, such as prezi or glogster. The students must select a different region. Two couples must select a different region. The criteria are: name and geographic locations of the region in Italian map. 2. Vacation stay. 3. The total cost of the trip 4. Three cities that they would like to visit. 5. Beautiful images of the cities with detailed descriptions and famous monuments. 6. The most beautiful attractions that you will be able to do in the cities. 7. Detailed descriptions of the activities that you will be able to do in the city. 8. Detailed description of an hotel and the rooms in each city. 9. Specific location of the hotel. 10. All services provided. 11. Traditional feast in the city. 12. Dialogues

Speaking & responding with a partner

The purpose of this unit is to facilitate student learning about the world in which we live. Students will receive a 'International Travel Packety' packet to complete. The student will pretend that he/she is going to visit a minimum for 8-10 days and will make round trip travel arrangements to and from their assigned country. To be prepared for the trip, the student will use technology to conduct internet research in order to be able to answer questions about their assigned country’s resources, culture, government, religion, geography, political atmosphere, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and write a report about their country and then create a power point presentation to go with their report.

Create a visual representation about your daily routine. You may use GoAnimate.com,Powtoons, Powerpoint, Prezi, Glogster or any other creative design program. Each scene must include relevant drawings, photos, or clip art depicting your or imaginary self's daily routine. You must use 8 reflexive verbs. You must use at least three time-related words like "Per la mattina, Per il pomeriggio, Per la notte, Durante il giorno", etc.
