Persuasive Speech - V for Vendetta
Students will give a persuasive speech exploring ideas presented in V for Vendetta. You will be assessed on use of persuasive language, content and style of delivery. Speeches need to reference specific examples and not simply filled with generalities. Speeches need to be a minimum of 3 minutes long and no longer than 6 minutes.

The Little Prince Short Story Rubric
Write a chapter that would be included in the Little Prince. The story should demonstrate understanding of the elements of fiction and should be descriptive and imaginative. Personal Narrative with influential inspiration
Write a personal narrative which includes a person who has had an influence on your life. Your essay much include how that person influenced you as a human being and why you feel this influence is important. Your narrative must have a beginning, middle, and end. Be sure to spend some time to think about why you are telling this story. Everyone has a compelling story to tell so make sure that yours is something that is interesting for the reader. Beowulf performance
