This rubric is used to score a project researched and created by gifted education students.

Oral communication is a prepared, purposeful presentation designed to increase knowledge, to foster understanding, or to promote change in the listeners' attitudes, values, beliefs, or behaviors. Oral communication takes many forms. For panel presentations or group presentations, it is recommended that each speaker be evaluated separately.

Submit one 6 page typed paper, double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 5 resources used researching the paper. (use quotes from 5) Sources should include various journals, websites, magazines, etc. Quotes can not be more than 5 lines. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.
