This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Develop a lesson to share the most important information about your topic to the class through an interactive, engaging presentation. You must provide practice materials (notes/questions for class), examples, and a five question quiz for the end of the lesson. Make sure you have a copy for everyone in class. The assignment is DUE MONDAY, APRIL 30TH. The project is worth 50 points.

You will choose a song to analyze for poetic devices. You will need at least 6 poetic devices (imagery, alliteration, metaphor, simile, repetition, onomatopoeia, symbolism, etc.) with THEME and MOOD being a requirement. You will present this song to the class with a tangible representation of your analysis (poster board, power point, etc.). Your analysis should include a paragraph answering the questions - Why did you choose this song? What does it mean to you personally?
