Your literary analysis essay will focus on two specific characters from the story. Choose two characters that (in your opinion) affected the plot of the story. You are to use a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast yourself to a character from your book. After considering the various aspects of the characters life, you will write about a relevant event relating to that character. Include any personal thoughts or reflections.

To conclude the Poetry Unit, students share some highlights of their Poetry Portfolio with their classmates in a brief presentation.

Poetry Portfolio: This project is the final assessment in the unit of Poetry. This is task wherein students compile original poetry done in class showcasing the use of imagery, sound effects and rhyming.

The student is to write an analysis of a poem and song of his/her choice identifying poetic devices used by the artist(s). He/She should also explain why the poem and song are meaningful to him/her.
