Students will create a map that shows the migration of the main character of their narrative story.

Students are to select a topic dealing with the rights and responsibilities of citizens. Such topics include: women’s rights, health care, fair trade, censorship, etc. After the topic is selected, students must use appropriate resources to research the selected topic while incorporating key concepts from the course into the paper. Students may write a short paper (5 paragraphs) or create a graphic organizer (at least 5 different spaces in the organizer).

Create a board game that reflects aspects of the entire novel. Questions that show insight will earn higher marks than those that are simply recall questions. Your board game can be based on one that is already in existence such as Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit. The final project should include connections between the novel and other real world or fictional experiences, luminated plot points that show the plot progression, a list of vocabulary words from the novel and their definitions and character charts that reflect the major characters from the novel.

Assesses students productivity and participation within literature circles.

In your group you will be creating a Bill of Rights using rights that you feel all citizens should be given. You need to include at least 10 Amendments (rights). You must meet the following standards for neatness, capitalization, punctuation, justifications, and completeness.
