You are to prepare a 5 minute presentation about your topic. Make sure that you discuss the most relevant, interesting information AND how it relates to genetic engineering as we have been discussing in class.

Using any materials you like, make a 3-D model of a cell! Your model may be edible (food), styrofoam, paper mache, cardboard, legos, in a box, painted, colored, etc. Use materials from your home…you don’t have to go shopping at the store! The cell must include the following parts: Cell Membrane Lysosomes Nucleus Ribosomes Vacuoles Cytoplasm Mitochondria Endoplasmic Reticulum • You must label the parts of the cell in some way, and must include a key for your cell. The key should contain a description of the job of each cell part.
