Students will give an informative speech about an important person in the development of Western Theatrical Dance. They will be assessed on content, delivery, and written work.

The dances will be judged upon its set up that includes ability to incorporate the right combination of steps and moves in accordance with the music , coordination, effort, and dance theme.

Dance students will perform a chosen dance from our world dance unit and perform in front of the class. They will begin the presentation with a brief introduction about the dance. The students should explain the title of the dance, what country it is from, why it is performed and what the dancers wear in the dance. After the introduction the dance students will perform this world dance with knowledge of the steps and performance quality.
