This rubric is designed to evaluate any type of E Learning experience. Whether it be through an online class, Web 2.0 tools, Online Simulation learning experience, and the list goes on. Specifically it was tested at the high school level undergrad, and graduate level.

The computer based portfolio documents the development and possession of specific skills and learning throughout a student's high school career, and generates a living transcript that can be used by both the student and institutions as evidence of those skills. The portfolio allows for instant and immediate student and institution interaction. An electronic portfolio is a purposeful collection of work that tells the story of your body of work, including achievements, growth, vision, re?ection, skills, experience, education, training, and career goals. It is a tool that gives a complete picture of who you are—your experience, your education, your accomplishments—and what you have the potential to become.

Rubric for agenda checks at the high school level. Utilizes homework, encourages class and daily work completion.

ABS Classes are designed for students who do not have a high school diploma and need to review and improve basic reading, math, and language skills. Students in ABS classes may be referred to the GED Test Prep classes once these skills have been improved (description taken from Ann Arundel Community College).

Using this rubric, the college liaison and high school staff can determine if a HS student is able to function effectively within the college environment to meet their educational objectives.

Exceptional (4.5) = "4" plus the candidate’s response reveals authoritative expertise and advanced leadership/teamwork skills. Excellent (4) = Demonstrates sound knowledge of educational research, strong ownership or mastery of best practices, significant professional judgment associated with master teachers, and insightful professional experiences. Capable (3.5) = Candidate demonstrates mostly sound knowledge of educational research, familiarity with best practices, sufficient professional judgment and acuity to be an effective teacher with proper guidance, support, and professional development. Candidate’s qualities merit district’s investment. Commendable (3) = Reveals thoughtfulness despite inaccurate or limited response. Inadequate (1) = Reveals a significant deficiency in educational research, best practices, and professional judgment, which may or may not stem from a limited teaching experience or requisite acuity, demeanor, or work ethic.

Using this rubric, high school faculty can determine if a HS student has the skills needed to be successful in college, business, their community and their adult life
