Group is to create a power point slide(s) outlining important points about an assigned Topic. Student must present information & power point presentation to the class. The power point should be friendly to the audience members and allow the presenter an opportunity to present (not just read slides to the audience); student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered.

This rubric evaluates the students ability to incorporate historical facts to create an intresting, and thought provoking journal entry.

This rubric is for a U.S. History research project based on the Battles of the American Revolution, comprised of a presentation given by groups of 2-3 students four students; each group is responsible for creating a Power Point Presentation and a note sheet for the class that provides information about their assigned battles.

Create a historical postcard.

Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management. This rubric will also provide a means of grading homework assignments. The better the quality of your homework, hopefully, the better your grade. Pay attention to grammar, spelling, and sentence sturcture. Above all, be mindful of content. (i.e., what you're saying)

This rubric is used to assess Homework and Classwork, which include multiple choice, T/F, fill-in, matching and other similar assessment questions. This rubric takes the percentage of correct answers and translates it to the rubric scoring as indicated below. This rubric does not assess student-supplied narrative answers (short answer & essay)

Students will create a song or rap that reflects what they are learning about the value of an education.

This rubric will be used to grade your final historical fiction writing piece. To make sure to get full points, make sure that you have done all that the rubric asks for.

You will choose a historical figure that impacted the 1920s. You will then create a Facebook profile for your character from this era. This will be saved to your directory, printed up, and presented to the class. Follow the Rubric to complete the Facebook page for your historical figure.

Having now viewed the Powerpoint presentation on the Federal law making process you will create a comic strip portraying each step of the law making process.
