Use movie making techniques to create an informative movie about the solar system. Movie should include script, narrations, video, scientific facts, accurate measurements and full credits.

Your task is to take on the persona of Edgar Allan Poe. In a letter to a friend, whom you will invent, Poe will explain the symbols he used in "The Pit and the Pendulum," why he chose these symbols, and how those symbols came to him as a result of experiences in his own life.

A rubric to evaluate a variety of forms that can be used for a final project done in groups but with individual work that is assessed for each student

This project requires students to do a current self-assessment of their overall health, including their physical, mental/emotional, and social health. Taking their current health status into consideration, students will critique their triangle and note where improvements can be made to create a healthy balance. This guide should reflect the Health Triangle and include goals, plans, and reflections for the future on those plans. This assignment should include a written, in essay form, portion as well as a "triangle" visual. The visual should represent YOU, it may have words, pictures, etc to demonstrate your health. Graphic Design Final Project Rubric

A rubric that evaluates an art project. It measures the various skills in developing a non-linear narrative and incorporating the use of texture, pattern, color and composition over a structure.

This Rubric relates to oral communication/presentation; that is a prepared, purposeful presentation designed to increase knowledge, to foster understanding, or to promote change in the listeners' attitudes, values, beliefs, or behaviors. This rubric is specifically designed to evaluate oral presentations of a single speaker at a time in live or video-recorded presentations. May include evaluation of accompanying PPTs, tangibles, etc.

Students will create and present a topic from the Classical Music Period to the class using iMovie as their medium. The movie will include audio examples, engage the class, and teach a comprehensive lesson on the topic. iMovies will be submitted in advance of presentation in class.

For 10% of your grade, you are required to read and write a letter to me about two books that you read in addition to what we read in our Reading class, per quarter. Your letter must contain a plot summary, a description of the setting, a comparison/contrast of you and any main character in the text, as well as questions that you had as you read the story, and, finally, whether you would recommend the story to me or to a friend and why....
