French 1 daily participation self-assessment

Self-assessment

You are interviewing a famous person from the period of French history we have recently studied. Along with your partner, your answers and questions, must show knowledge of your historical figure and knowledge of the time period he/she lived in.

You and a partner will create a French board game that covers what we've seen and done this semester! It must include 50 questions and answers in French that range from easy to complex, and you MUST be able to answer them all for your game. ALL games are due the class dayON/BEFORE________so we can play them during finals week. Do your 50 q/a FIRST and show them to me. Get creative with the rest and have fun!

The students are to create a children's book or write and illustrate a story in French using the passé composé and imparfait as well as interrogative and impersonal expressions

Create a clothes store catalogue complete with advertisements of at least 20 clothing or accessory pieces. Each of the advertisements must include sentences about what the item is and its price, available colors, sizes, materials, and designs. All of the advertisements must include a picture of the item and at least 3 sentences about the item in correct French. Use of expressions from chapter 10 including; ce qui, ce que, il est necessaire, il faut ... etc must be used. The day the projects are due you will present part of the project to the class for 1-1.5 minutes. Project will be penalized 10% for every day it is late.
