Diary Entry Rubric - Anne Frank
The student will write ten diary entries in the style of the Diary of Anne Frank. Each entry will be at least 100 words and be as accurate as possible in the area of setting, characterization, and writing style similar to the novel. The student may write as any of the characters in the book. Students will read aloud one part of their diary to the class following submission on the day students turn them in.

Theme Collage
Using magazine photos, newspaper pictures, images from the computer or hand drawn images create a collage of images that symbolize an important theme in Freak the Mighty. On a separate sheet of paper, explain the meaning of your collage and how it illustrates a theme from the book.

Speech to Inform-Oral Presentation
