Daily Points based on National Physical Education Standards

This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during class time. I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1

The rationale for Student Conduct Grade being used is taken from GPS & National Standards for PE Standards 3 & 5- & being Standards Based. PE Standard 3- Participates regularly in physical activity. [I can... be active everyday in & out of PE & I know why activity is important.] PE Standard 3 PE Standard 5- Exhibits responsible personal & social behavior that respects self & other in physical activity settings.
