Students develop a business plan for a retail or service business that they are personally interested in starting. Each student will be responsible for all portions of the comprehensive plan that covers everything, including Executive Summary, Business Description, writing a mission statement, developing the marketing plan, etc. ALL SHOULD HAVE-- Code of Ethics, Resume, Cover Page, Floor Plan, Brochure, Business Card.

Create a Business Brochure for your massage business. Make sure to have business logo and address and telephone number, website and everything your offer at your business. Make sure you use pictures and colors for your brochure.

Create a personal business card that includes your name, business, job title address, phone number, email address, and web page address. The business card must also have a tagline or description of the business with a logo and list of the service or product. The layout is to show an emphasis on your business and your name and title. Use vivid color and an attractive font/letters to make the card appealing to the eye.

Tests the student's ability to perform subjective/objective assessment of clients chief complaint, propose a plan for treatment, and use deep tissue massage strokes to affect a change in client's condition.

Oral presentation grade on modality paper.

Students will develop a 10 point code of ethics with 2 standards of practice for each code.
