Value Composition in Pencil. The composition demonstrates the students ability to create the Illusion of volume or form using the element of Art: Value and the principle of composition. Composition uses at least 3 objects that overlap; value is added to the contour drawing using one or more of the methods taught in class (tonal, crosshatch, linear, stippling, unique). Composition shows at least 3-4 values of shading and includes the 5 Principles of Shading: highlight, shade, shadow, reflected light and backshading.

You will be put into groups of four and will be asked to create a short play. After creating a short role play, your group will then perform your role play to a class.

Expectations: B1.4 communicate feelings, thoughts, and abstract ideas through drama works, using audio, visual, and/or technological aids for specific purposes and audiences

For Life of Christ - Passion Week

The student will respect rights and feelings of others; accept responsibility; follow class and school rules; cooperate with others; use time wisely; follow directions; demonstrate organizational skills; exhibit positive attitude; and complete assignments on time.

After researching a Canadian Province, students must complete a travel brochure to convince people to come to their region. The brochure must include aspects of the regions' geography, history, government, and economy.

Students must create a self-portrait using photography. The photo should not contain just an image of themselves but express something about their inner being.
