Neurographic art is a therapeutic drawing technique created by Russian psychologist Pavel Piskarev that uses organic, neuron-like lines to visually express and transform inner states like stress, fear, or chaos into calm, peaceful images.

A mood board is a tool used by designers to help them get a good idea of what their clients are looking for. Mood boards are essentially collages of items, including photographs, sketches, fabric swatches, and color samples. A mood board is used by fashion designers. Students in Fashion Design class create their own Personal Mood Board to set the groundwork for creating a project that reflects their design preferences.
