Students are find 3 French proverbs and are to give explanation of its meaning by using a brief explanation, coupled with complementing images that give the literal and figurative meaning. They then will explain the meaning of the proverb and how the proverb would be used in context.

This rubric is designed for a French presentation performance evaluation in which the students will be presenting a dialogue using learned vocabulary.

Prepare an interactive presentation about this artist. Introduce him/her, give a short biography. State the style of music they play, describe specific characteristics of their music. Choose a piece which made them famous and relate facts such as how long it remained on top of the charts and characteristics that made it popular. Include 2 multimedia resources to share with the class. Choose a song to teach to the class. You will present your artist to the class for an oral presentation grade.

Students will create a paper slide video that depicts vocabulary and phrases learned. Each video must include: 10 or more lines of dialogue/narration, correct grammar and pronunciation, and use of vocabulary/grammar acquired from Unit. In addition, simplistic yet effective visuals that relate to your video's dialogue/narration.

Create a menu for a French cafe or restaurant. Must create a French name for the restaurant or cafe. Should include foods, beverages, and appropriate prices in Euros. Correct grammar is a must. The student will include; (4) four appetizers, (6) six entrees, and (4) four desserts. The menu you must be creative and well done.

Students will work independently or in a small group to research various facets of the French Revolution. They will then produce a newspaper with events from the Revolution
