Poster and presentation rubric
The students will work with a partner and put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of Bullying. Students will provide bullying scenarios and demonstrate bullying mediation techniques in a creative and colorful poster. The poster will be designed on poster board (1/2 or full-sized poster board).

This rubric explains, through a ppt presentation, the steps necessary to obtain a career in a particular chosen field. It will discuss the college of choice, degree program, chosen field of study, the salary of chosen study, and what that chosen field of study does. It will also show what chances of advancement are available in this field, and what the student would like to be doing five-ten years from now.

Class Discussion
Students are expected to complete the assigned reading and come to class fully prepared to discuss and critically analyze the reading material. Each class member is responsible for finding answers to questions that arise to enhance her own learning and the learning. Because of the format of this experiential learning opportunity, class discussion will be an even more critical component of this course. Each class will be spent discussing reading, experiences, reflections, and interviews we have had with individuals living in Ecuador.

Episodio Perdido de Destinos
For a total possible of 250 points, you will work in a group of 3-4 and write and present a lost episode of Destinos in Spanish. You will write a script for your episode and submit it for approval and revisions prior to filming. You must utilize characters, themes, and settings from the series you have watched in class. All video content must be school appropriate and in compliance with school policies outlined in the GHS student handbook. Video dialogue must be audible and clear and editing must not impede comprehension of the plot. Each group member must participate as a character on screen with spoken lines. Group roles (grammarian, equipment guru, set/location designer, costume/hair/makeup, director, and editor(s), etc.) will be determined by the group and established prior to filming. Presentation and Tri-Fold Poster: Space Program
Working in groups of four, students will work collaboratively on a presentation to the class based on a particular benefit to society that was derived from the space program. Each group will prepare an 8 to 10 minute presentation to the class on their topic. Each group presentation shall include a tri-fold poster prepared by the group illustrating the group’s particular benefit to society derived from the space program.
