Students create a brochure for the elements on the periodic table.

This booklet is worth 300 total points (3 test grades) and will be due on May 27, 2009 by the end of your designated period.

Students will create an ABC book to demonstrate understanding of concepts we have learned in Science this year.

Create a board game that reflects aspects of the science material we have covered. Questions that show insight will earn higher marks than those that are simply recall questions. Your board game can be based on one that is already in existence such as Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit. The final project should include connections between the notes and other real world.

How does physical science apply to my life?

STUDENTS WILL COMPLETE AN ALGEBRA BOOK WHICH INCLUDES A TABLE OF CONTENTS AND A GLOSSARY AS WELL AS 10 CHAPTERS WITH EXAMPLES AND PRACTICE PROBLEMS.

Task: You've been given $1,000,000 to spend. Rules: You can't spend more than $1 million dollars. You must buy 20 items or less. Add 6% sales tax to each item. You can only buy 1 of each item. You can buy one house, and it cannot be more than $500,000. What you will turn in: 1) An advertisement/picture of each item with its price and where you found it. 2) A NEATLY organized paper with your calculations of each item with tax and your total spending amount. 3) A list of each item, showing the amounts in fraction, decimal and percentage forms of the $1 million dollars.

Student will write a paper and create a budget that meets short and long term personal goals and can immediately be applied to their current life situation.
