This Rubric is designed to assess your performance in bringing together information presented during class into a propaganda poster.

This rubric is best used for a project that comes after the students learned about WWII. My students are allowed to pick their own topic and design their own project (with my approval) to best reflect their interests and talents.

Students create a booklet about a country and ID the 5 themes of geography in the booklet: Location, Place, Human-Environment Interaction, Region, Movement.

Pretend your book has been made into a movie. Create a POSTER to advertise your "movie"(book). Produce a short commercial to "sell" your book to the class. Your poster should be easy to read from 30 feet away. Be creative. AVOID: Do NOT copy the Book's cover...this will result in a grade of zero. Also avoid, sloppy picture and lettering, colors that do not work together, late work and lack of effort. Your poster will not have white space---unless it is a part of the picture, a uniform, whites of people's eyes etc......

Use this rubric for grading student papers. Can be customized for any subject.
