Design, sketch and build a well planned piece of pottery based on given criteria that functions for it's intended purpose, making necessary adjustments and revisions along the way.

The purpose of this rubric is to allow the student to know what the expectations are for writing a comparing/contrasting essay. The student will compare and contrast the book A Wrinkle in Time to the movie of the same name. In preparation for this assignment, the student will have had instruction in the writing process, sentence structure, capitalization, end marks, specific vocabulary words, read the book and viewed the movie.

This project is part 1 of your research project. You will choose an art movement and artists you want to research.

Students will use scraping technique to create their own unique functional bank.

Design, sketch and build a functional coil vessel that demonstrates at least 2 coil building methods, reaches at least 6" in height, and is water tight upon completion.
