Chopped Final
You will be given ingredients to compile an edible creation in a 90 minute lab. You must use at least some of each ingredient in your final product. Ingredients do not leave those areas and you can not take all of one ingredient. Take a tray and measure your ingredients on the tray. May use the computer/phone for ideas, but remember it all must get done in the time frame. Once the buzzer sounds, hands up and step away. You will serve you dishes to three faculty guests who are in the room.

Mystery Ingredient Cooking Final

Be Your Own Personal Trainer
At the end of the semester, each group will design a workout plan for a specific week. Within this week each group will build a workout for their peers. Each group must collaborate to make sure the workout is appropriate and confines within what they want each of their peers accomplish.

Mental Disorder
Create a one page flyer describing a mental illness from one of the following categories: anxiety disorders, mood disorders,eating disorders, personality disorders, Conduct disorder or schizophrenia.

Drug and Alcohol Presentation
Students will be researching a chosen drug in small groups (groups of TWO, with one group of three due to uneven class size), then sharing the collected information about the drug with the class. They will complete a research paper, as well as presentation. The presentation can take any form the students choose (poster, powerpoint, etc) and is open to creativity! The research paper and presentation should include the classification; proper name; street names; methods of consumption; history; effects on physical, mental/emotional, and social health; uses; and demographics (what types of people--some factors to consider would be race, gender, economic status, location, occupation, sexual orientation, etc.) of users. Any additional information will be rewarded with extra credit. The group must also present the class with a short 10 question quiz on their drug.
