Verbal Book Report
This book report is for a verbal book report.

Mi Libro
You will be making a small book about *preferably yourself using the vocabulary and grammar that we have learned this year. In the small book, you will be required to utilize full sentences. This book needs to have a minimum of 10 pages, but there is no maximum. It will be due by or before May 25th. (before the Semester test day.) Students taking my test will be REQUIRED to present their to the class. (No exceptions!) * Story line must be verified with teacher first.

Spanish Children's Book --... hace una vez...
You will create a children's book. The story must be in Spanish using the preterit, "hace + time expressions", previous verb conjugations as well as vocabulary I and II. The book will have 7 pages with illustration each and a cover page with the title. Each page will consist of an illustration and 3 sentences. You will present and narrate the story WITHOUT READING ! Be creative, create adventures, dramas and make it suspenseful. Remember your book should entice little one to read.

Cinco de Mayo Travel Brochure Rubric
You are a travel agent for Mexico. You are to create a travel brochure to attract travelers to Mexico during Cinco de Mayo. You will research the internet and use your imagination. This brochure should be colorful, creative and written to entice travelers to spend their money to visit Mexico during Cinco de Mayo. Refer to the handout for some things to include in your brochure. You must also include the name, address, phone/website of your travel agency.

My week activites, Presentation
On 1/2 poster, include: pictures/illustrations, the time and dates of activities. Follow the verbal structure: Ex: "On Mondays I go to school, at 6:30 a.m. I go by bus." Los lunes voy a la escuela a las sies y media de la maƱana. Voy en autobĆŗs. Students will present their poster showing fluency, no hesitation and with an accuracy of 80%. The teacher will ask questions with āwhenā. Ex. āWhen do you go to school?ā, etc.

Create a Bedroom Due Jan. 25th Must not be late!
Create a picture of a bedroom. The room should be in color. Should be labeled with at least 10 items from this chapter's (6A) you can include vocab.from previous chptrs. (furniture and accessories). Write 5-7 sentences describing your room; telling where things are located in the room, 2-4 sentences about your room in general or describing the items in your room and 3-5 sentences telling what has to be done to keep up the room. Finally, You will present the project in Spanish for 1-1.5 minutes.

For this project, you will create a map of a LandMark in Stockton. The map must include street names must ,traffic signs, buildings all labeld in Spanish. (For instance, if there is a gas station on the way to your land mark you will draw a building or picture illustrating a gas station. You will also label it " la estacion de servicio". For the verbal component of this project, you will give directions around your city to a tourist. The tourist will follow follow your directions. Your directions must be entirely in Spanish and include the direction words learned in this chapter as well as verbs in the command form. 50 points possible.

Preposition Treasure Maps
Construct a treasure map using prepositional phrases in the written directions. Objectives: 1. I can use prepositions and prepositional phrases correctly in sentences. 2. I can identify prepositions and prepositional phrases in my own writing. 3. I can design a map and clearly write instructions for following the map. Requirements: -At least five individual instructions given in directions. -At least five prepositions or prepositional phrases identified in directions (underlined or circled) -A detailed, completed map that corresponds to the given directions

Spanish Commercial
Students will create a Spanish commercial using video. The video must include vocabulary & grammar from the year. Students will follow the format of a Direct TV commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product. You must have audio to your video.The use of props to enhance your video is strongly advised.

Students will create an advertisement for a sale of clothing. Students must include at least 10 articles of clothing. Each article must be labeled in Spanish with the name of the article and the color. Include the price must be listed below the article and material made must be in the description.

Spanish 2 Reflexive Verbs
Students will create a Power point or Posterboard of 10 different scenes that depict their daily routines. Each scene must include one sentence a reflexive verb, details of your daily routine. Minimum of 10 frames must contain the use of different reflexive verbs as well as other verbs included in a daily routine to equal no less than 20 sentences total. Purpose is to use reflexive verbs to show your understanding of the verbs use.
