Students will: 1) identify 5 Illustrations of Real-World Symmetry, 2) attach their pictures to a poster, 3) construct a correct line of symmetry in each, using a ruler, 4) draw their own image its reflection, rotation and /or translation 5) describe the similarities and differences between a symmetric shape and a transformation in full sentences.

This rubric is used to assess the student's successful production to create their claymation.

Students will develop their own real-life stories of ethical dilemmas about respecting creative work, which should be similar in format to the case studies they read. They can address dilemmas regarding piracy, plagiarism, file sharing, remixing and mashing, or how to comment constructively on other peoples work.

The student will create a short clip using Stop Motion techniques. That movie will be eligible to participate in the Stop Motion Awards ceremony where some judge will choose the best videos.

Silent Film project that reviews basic storytelling.

Taking the videos you taped in the hall, you will create a Reality Drama where you will use voice overs to tell a story. The Reality Drama that you present must show stereotyping that we discussed in class.

You will be creating a Public Service Announcement on Safe Online Talk. We talked about in class the opportunities and pitfalls of talking online. You will create a PSA on the Do's and Don'ts of talking online. You will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization, Content, Eye Contact, Clarity, Use of music/sound effects.

This rubric is designed to assess student's Newscast/Skit Presentation

Student will create an instructional video on how to perform a dance. They must demonstrate what the dance looks like and how to perform it step by step. Music must be included. Both the dance and music need to be APPROPRIATE because it will be shown during PE class.

You will be creating a Public Service Announcement on importance of being an upstander in 45 seconds or more. You will be evaluated on the following criteria; Organization - PA flows logically, Content - Commercial explains issue, Eye Contact - focused on Camera, Clarity - audible, Use of music/sound effects - effective to catch attention.

In groups, students will create a 30 second-1 min commercial using the IMovie Program. Your commercial must be a production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a product. You must complete the commercial worksheet, and have at least 4 story board frames (see attached worksheets). You must have video, music and audio. Use the commercial worksheet to show how your commercial targets the appropriate customers, and to show how you will sell your project. Good Luck, and have fun!
