Group Work and Discussion
Rubric designed to rate how well students are working together in a group. Groups are discussing emotions, previous experiences. Students are also making inferences about a historic picture, and brainstorming questions for our unit.

American History Project
Student must create a poster and fact sheet about one famous person in American History between 1800 & 1921. Your fact sheet must include 30 facts and a paragraph as to why you chose the person and their historical significance. It is expected that the poster reinforces the paragraph. You can either draw or use pictures. You will give a short presentation on your poster, explaining what you have on it.
