Students will assess a victim in need of Basic Life Support (CPR and Rescue Breathing), and then perform the proper intervention.

This design is for a High School Athletic Training room.

Students will be given a scenario that they have to do first aid for.

Students will be presented with a First Aid Kit and note card with different emergency scenarios and a checklist of everythign that the First Aid Kit has inside. After reading the the scenarios, the student will choose the appropriate items for treatment and check which items they are using for the scenario and then describe why they chose it and how they would use it.

This project requires students to do a current self-assessment of their overall health, including their physical, mental/emotional, and social health. Taking their current health status into consideration, students will critique their triangle and note where improvements can be made to create a healthy balance. This guide should reflect the Health Triangle and include goals, plans, and reflections for the future on those plans. This assignment should include a written, in essay form, portion as well as a "triangle" visual. The visual should represent YOU, it may have words, pictures, etc to demonstrate your health. Either present, future or both. *See detailed handout on the project.

Students will draw their family tree using stencils and straight edges. Each person must be labeled with name and relationship to the third generation. Pictures and symbols to represent the family should be included.
