Newton's Laws of Motion Project
Students create a comic strip describing one of Newton's Three Laws of Motion. Each comic strip must include the one law, a description of the law, drawing illustrating the law, and an explanation of the law that can teach others.

The students will put together a poster to show during their oral presentation. The poster will display their top ten list of American Symbols. The group will explain their hypothesis, and their through their research explain the rankings they chose.

"Bug of the Year" Awards
Students design and build a new bug and its habitat then give a 3 minute persuasive speech about why their bug should be nominated "Bug of the Year" based on the bug's effect on the organisms around it.
