Student must create a travel poster for a destination of choice and suggest an itinerary with flight information, lodging information, currency and exchange rate, location and description,and typical foods. Students will need to include information about fun things to do, typical weather and temperatures. All information must be in German.

GD 1

This rubric is based on the template we saw in "El árbol generoso." You must correctly use the imperfect tense, including the 3 irregulars: ser, ir, ver. You must have a vocabulary illustration. You must have 9 squares with story line and illustrations. You must have a cohesive story line.

En grupos pequeños, imaginen que construyeron un aparato tecnológico revolucionario. Dibujen su invento para presentar en un infomercial con los detalles contestando las preguntas: 1. ¿Para qué se usa? 2. ¿Cómo es? 3. ¿Cuánto cuesta? 4.¿Qué personas van a comprar este aparato? En la publicidad teneis que usar: 4 palabras del vocabulario, 4 pronombres posesivos, 2 reflexivos recíprocos, por y para, 4 mandatos familiares

Students will create a devotional 2 to 3 minutes long. Students will use vocabulary and verbs consistent to their level of Spanish. (From regular present tense to past perfect subjunctive) Students will use the passage they have memorized (El Padre nuestro) as a basis of their devotional presentation. They will reference the verse/passage, give a personal example and a biblically sound application of what they have learned from their meditation and study of the passage.

Students will create a "Spanish podcast or vlog" 3-5 minutes. Topic: Daily Routine Create a video that talks about your daily routine in sequence. Must include: --house vocabulary and correct use of at least present tense verbs learned so far --6 conjugated reflexive verbs (Use the reflexive pronouns before conjugated verb --The podcast/vlog must include sounds that enhance your dialogue. Everybody in the video must talk in Spanish. (subtitles in your video are optional.)

Student collect and present information about city with 10 photos related to their "chosen" profession and organize a digital scrapbook to present in Spanish. Project guidelines: Minimum of 10 original photos with explanation of place and importance in city context (City life, daily chores/meals, money/banking, post office). -- 5 phrases of subjunctive in adjective clauses. -- 5 nosotr@s commands. -- 5 past participles as adjectives. Can be physical or digital presentation.

Students will create a "Spanish video" 2-3 minutes long. Students will use (1)house vocabulary and (2)"go", stem-changing and reflexive verbs to tell about daily routines in (3) sequence. All work is individual. You may use others for your video. Please follow the directions in the rubric to understand what is expected.

Students are to create a spooky movie trailer based on the vocabulary (el consultorio) and grammar (Imperfect and preterite, se) they have been studying. Their job is to think up an original story, and then capture that essence, complete with a coherent theme and horror tropes found in film.

Tri-fold brochure featuring information of Panamá Design a brochure to encourage people to come visit. The brochure must be in Spanish and must include a minimum of 10 facts and/or places of interest. Consider the physical/natural attractions, historical sites and popular tourist destinations. Also have a level of travel in mind i.e economy, deluxe, luxury, eco-tourism, ect.

Students have been assigned a particular piece of the puzzle of the Spanish Civil War. At the end of the investigation, each group will present what they have learned to the class. Each presentation must be 8-15 minutes long, include vocabulary terms related to each piece, include a worksheet for listeners to fill in, a song, poem and artwork related to each assigned group. You may use any kind of presentation format software or video, however, each person in the group must participate.

Each newspaper article will be graded according to the following rating scale.

Students will write a feature article for the yearbook based on an interview conducted with a student or staff member of SBA. Articles will demonstrate a clear understanding of the feature writing format and the ability to answer a question with supporting details. The article will be designed using conventions of newspapers.

Students will create a "Spanish video" 3 to 5 minutes long. Students will use house vocabulary and "go", stem-changing and reflexive verbs to tell about daily routines in sequence. All members will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. Please see the project outline in google classroom to understand what is expected.

Students will use the passages in Romans that they have memorized as a basis of their testimony presentation. They will reference the verse/passage, give a personal example and a biblically sound application of what they have learned from their meditation and study of the passages.

Journal in Spanish:In Spanish, write journal entries about your school year in a Spanish-speaking country. You may choose the country. There are 4 topics you will write about: The place where you live, including school and family, your daily routine, your chores and responsibilities, a birthday party you were invited to. The journal can be written in any form you are most comfortable with

You will create a travel brochure for a Spanish country. You are travel agents/travelers and use the brochure to suggest/question an itinerary. The bochure and presentation will include 10 present tense verbs, and 5 verbs that use indirect objects. Format of presentation is may be a video, live, skit, prezi, ect.

Students will choose a sport and make a visual project of the sport in Spanish: It must include: 1. vocabulary of sport, 2. country of origin of sport, important dates and facts and where the sport has spread, 3. equipment needed to play, 4. rules of the game, 5. a connection between this sport and the Spanish world and 1 Spanish-speaking player. Students are required to use 5 present tense regular & 5 stem-changing verbs, also 5 uses of: gustar, interesar y aburrir.
