Skit Peformance Rubric
This rubric is designed for a Spanish 4 Midterm project presentation in which they will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of travel, giving directions, and grammar points covered all quarter; in addition to any previous knowledge they have from Spanish 1 and 2. They are to pretend to travel to Madrid and have a conversation with a friend about all they did there. The creativity is up to them to decide the rest! The students are being graded both individually and as a group. The skit must be video tape prior to the presentation.

Socratic Seminar
The purpose of a Socratic Seminar is to achieve a deeper understanding about the ideas and values in a text. In a Seminar, participants systematically question and examine issues and principles related to a particular content, and articulat different points-of-view. The group conversation assists participants in constructing meaning through disciplined analysis, interpretation, listening, and participation.
