Cumulative assessment for Floor Hockey Unit

This rubric is used to outline each individual athlete's performance on the day of tryouts. It is to judge their current condition as well as their future potential for the team. Each participant will be judged equally with no bias opinion. All decisions made will be for the maximum benefit of the Beavercreek Middle Schools basketball teams for the 2013-14 season. All decisions made are final.

Assess the ability of students to demonstrate proficiency in performing a basketball lay-up.

Learning how to dribble a basketball. Effective dribbling skills (movement with the ball).

Applying and Performing - i,ii Students will demonstrate and apply the skills and techniques necessary to successfully stop, pivot and pass a basketball to a teammate using a bounce pass, chest pass or overhead pass.

The teams objective is to obtain the oppositions team flag from the oppositions fort and return it to their team fort. Students are divided into teams and collectively assign positions (recon, boarder guard, sneaker, and ranger). As a team students must work within the description of their position to capture the flag. Students will also take a written multiple choice exam based on the the positions and rules.

This rubric is used to outline each individual student's performance pre test and post test of our physical education volleyball unit. It is to judge their current condition as well as their post condition for the PE class. Each participant will be evaluated equally with no bias opinion.
